This project involves replacing an electric fire with a SIA approved, multi fuel woodburner within a farm house in Stogursey, ner Bridgwater.
The Ecosy Panoramic woodburner is one of the largest in its class with a very largecast iron door and glass window measuring some 560mm wide. Its 5Kw nominal heat output is the perfect woodburner for many properties. Thankfully, the adjustable feet helped to level the woodburner on the uneven hearth.
We will only be able to install new SIA approved woodburners in 2022 and suggest all customers resist the temptation of buying second hand cheap woodburners with this changing of regulations on the horizon.
We also installed a chimney pot as the existing open chimney can be attractive home for jackdaws and other bird, whilst the flexible chimney liner hangs supported from the chimney pot. We can complete most woodburner installations via ladders so avoiding potential significant scaffolding expenses.
