Woodburner installers in Langport near Curry Rivel
This project involved installing a Ecosy Panoramic woodburner in a lovely old cottage near Curry Rivel in Langport. The inglenook fireplace required a large stove to fill the area, so we recommend, supplied and installed an Ecosy Panoramic woodburner.
The Ecosy Panoramic 5kW, Defra and SIA approved woodburner is a massive 560mm wide and is one of the largest in its class, perfect for inglenook fireplace and large recesses. Be aware that regulations state you require a minimum hearth length in front of a wood burner, which can be 400mm or more and therefore hearth modifications may be required. The Ecosy Panoramic woodburner requires just 225mm of hearth in front of the door, although we had over 300mm to spare on this installation.
We always install a flexible liner with a lifetime warrenty and chimney cowl to stop the birds and rain getting in. We used steel and angle iron to construct a registration plate to seal off the chimney in order to stop dust and soot from the chimney entering the room.
Customer’s always love the large Ecosy Panoramic woodburners due to the huge screen and its effective air wash system to keep the glass clean. We supply virtually all types of woodburners and generally keep these in stock. There is a multi-fuel version available also, click here to view.
