HETAS Installation of Chanwood C5 Blu Woodburning stove in Illminster.

We installed this Charnwood C5 Blu stove in a cottage in Illminster. The Charnwood C5 is a premium quality stove built in the UK and is SIA and Defra approved. The wider body allows for a large log and the attractive wood handle reduces heat. We came off the back of this stove with a T-Piece allowing the stove to sit further forwards and therefore release more heat into the room. I’ve always been impressed with the quality of Charnwood stoves and their 10 year warranty. This is a 5 KW stove and doesn’t normally require an air vent in pre 2008 properties. However, an external direct air kit is available for this model.
