Fireplace Renovation and Woodburner Installers in West Buckland
This woodburner installation and fireplace renovation was completed in a property in the beautiful village West Buckland near Wellington.
We initially removed the existing surround etc and knockout and enlarged the fireplace to its original size, whilst installing a new lintel and slate hearth. We installed a flexiable stainless steel; liner and galvanised steel registration plate before rendering the inside of the recess with sand and cement and bonding and plastering the bottom half of the chimney breast.

We installed a Mi Flues Tinderbox large 5kw woodburner, which has the perfect proportions for this recess, allowing a good size air gap around stove for heat to circulate. The MI Flues Tinderbox woodburner is both Defra and SIA approved and therefore meets new air quality regulations being enforced in 2022.
